The humm formed in 2005 as a duo, Ty Penshorn and Dane Baldwin would bang out their compositions with guitar and drums only...

after the release of "reign on parade" 1000 copies only were made, and the foundation was laid. The rock began to roll, once Nick Raschke completed the line-up taking over guitars moving Ty to bass, picking up a few major supports and rocking the local hotels in and around Newcastle. The humm's latest album "death by vanity" is proof the group has grown with the times without losing its roots.

This album has all the classic rock sounds with modern edges and would sit perfectly on any FM playlist.

Live performance, these boys have experience brought to the stage, a mighty sound from 3 guys, Nick and Ty play their guitars like they were born welded to them, while Dane lays it down, holding it all together only playing a fill when a gun's held to his head.
