Competitors FAQ's

Am I required to bring camping gear?

Yes. You will need to bring your own tent, sleeping bag, pillow and anything else you like to make your stay comfortable.  We supply hot showers, bathrooms plus lots of new food stalls on the mountain top.  Camping this year is simplifed with 1 ticket per person for $25 that gives you camping from Thursday to Sunday night.

Can I bring alcohol to the camp site?  

We are working on the licencing agreement and will have a firm yes/no soon.  However this year there is going to be a special Competitor VIP section in the festival with own bar (cheaper prices) and other provisions that only competitors can enter.

Can I store gear?

Yes, we will have a secure compound that you can put your equipment in.  This will be lit and guarded 24hrs a day.  

What are the food and drink arrangements?

We are drastically improving the F&B this year. There are going to be vans that will be open from 7am until 2am each day selling a wide variety of food and beverage options. These vendors all only accept cash however ATMs will be present. 

I am registered as a competition / demonstration rider at NN. Can I get free tickets for my crew, family / friends?

Crew, family and friends can receive a 10% discount when their passes are purchased between a certain period by using a promotional code with Ticketek once they go on sale. A competitor newsletter for details on how to claim your 10% discount will be sent out with registration.

My friend is a regular at the markets and would love to have to opportunity to set up at Newton’s. Is this possible?

I’ll be coming from the town centre, is there a bus service to take us to Mount Panorama?

We are running a shuttle bus that will begin at 8am with the last trip just after 12am. The bus will do frequent trips from the bottom to the top of the mountain as well as town centre trips. Check back for full timetable.

Do we have access to the music festival?

Yes, your ticket allows your access to the main stage to enjoy the music line up and all other areas.

Will there be ATM’s at the event?

Yes, there will be ATM’s at the event where you can withdraw money from any Australian bank
